Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult patients in a progressive care unit, including those with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, and chronic kidney disease.
- Perform patient assessment, ongoing monitoring (vital signs, telemetry as applicable), and timely escalation of clinical concerns.
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; manage IV lines, infusions, and basic hemodynamic support as indicated.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, participate in rounds, implement care plans, and assist with discharge planning and patient education.
- Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to infection control protocols, promote patient safety, and implement seizure precautions when needed.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in PCU or medical step-down or closely related critical care setting
- Ability to work Day shift, 12-hour shifts, in a hospital environment
- Mandatory holiday coverage: available to work either Thanksgiving Day or the day after, and either Christmas Eve and Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day
