Senior Estates Specialist (SME)

Responsibilities Serve as the primary expert resource for deceased estate matters across the organization. Review and validate estate documentation including death certificates, letters of testamentary, probate documents, and executor authorizations. Coordinate the transfer or liquidation of securities, options, futures, and other financial instruments held in deceased accounts. Ensure proper handling of outstanding trades, margin positions, and corporate actions for deceased accounts. Liaise with legal counsel and compliance teams on complex or high‑value estate matters. Preferred Qualifications Law degree, paralegal certification, or other relevant qualification, or significant demonstrable experience. Experience with international estates and cross‑border asset transfers. Knowledge of estate planning strategies and trust structures. Experience working in a global financial institution. Salary & Compensation This role's anticipated base salary range is $70,000 to $90,000 annually, based on skills and experience. The total compensation package also includes a discretionary cash bonus and stock award, and additional benefits as noted.
