Patient Access Manager (SAN DIEGO, CA/AZ)

For our client, we are seeking a Patient Access Manager (SAN DIEGO, CA/AZ) to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead patient access support across the oncology journey, helping patients and caregivers navigate coverage, reimbursement, and available assistance resources. The manager will serve as a primary point of contact, partner with provider offices, and elevate barriers that may affect timely access to therapy. The position also requires careful documentation and cross-functional coordination to support a consistent patient experience. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $152,250 – $253,750 annually Responsibilities Serve as the primary contact for patients and caregivers, providing oncology-specific information. Conduct welcome calls and ongoing support throughout the patient journey. Educate patients on coverage options and financial assistance resources. Facilitate patient enrollment in services and manage documentation. Support provider offices with payer coverage and coding education. Identify and elevate access and reimbursement barriers to leadership. Document all interactions in Salesforce Health Cloud according to program standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 3+ years in field reimbursement, hub case management, or patient experience programs. Experience navigating insurance verification and prior authorization processes. Ability to travel up to 20%, including overnight stays. Valid driver's license required.
