Experienced Chef With American Breakfast Experience Wanted

Primary Staffing is seeking an experienced Chef with American breakfast experience to join a well-established restaurant and steakhouse operation in Hanover Park, IL. This position is ideal for an experienced culinary professional who can prepare high-quality dishes, maintain consistency in food preparation and presentation, and work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen. The ideal candidate will have previous Chef experience, strong knowledge of American-style breakfast preparation, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant standards.
• Prepare American-style breakfast dishes using proper cooking techniques.
• Ensure consistent food quality, preparation, and presentation.
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen stations.
• Monitor food quality and follow proper food-handling procedures.
• Support kitchen operations during high-volume service periods.
• Assist with proper ingredient usage and inventory awareness.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Previous Chef experience required.
• American Breakfast cooking experience required.
• High-volume kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food quality, and timing.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.

Schedule:

• Monday Tuesday: 4:00 PM 11:00 PM
• Wednesday: Closed
• Thursday Sunday: 12:00 PM 11:00 PM

Dress Code:

• Black shirt.
• Additional kitchen-safe attire as required.

Compensation:

$15.00 $18.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
