Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs designated duties related to coordinating, planning and delivery of optimal patient care. Demonstrates clinical proficiency in all areas of respiratory therapy including basic knowledge of bedside assessment, proper use of equipment, and mastery with patient driven protocols. Proficient with common respiratory disease management for adult, pediatric and neonatal patients in acute and alternate care settings. Assists department director with supervisory tasks and safe daily operation of the department, including daily staff assignments and scheduling. Charge and chart credits, QI initiatives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced cardiac Life Spt
• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
• (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist, or (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist
