Travel RN - Surgical ICU Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a rotating Surgical/Burn ICU position requiring an active MA RN license and prior travel nursing experience. Details 13-week assignment at 36 hours per week Rotating day/night shifts including weekends and holidays Burn/Surgical ICU caring for adult complex surgical and medical ICU patients (SICU/MICU-type), with thermal burns comprising less than 10% of the population Closed ICU model where APPs serve as primary providers, supported by surgical teams, consultants, residents, and 24/7 in-house attending physicians Uses Epic for EMR charting Requirements Active MA RN license required; pending or conditional licenses not accepted BLS certification (AHA only) Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required Flu vaccine required with no medical or religious exemptions allowed Primary source verification of license required within 30 days of start via NURSYS and BON Additional Information Deliver critical care nursing to complex surgical, medical, and burn ICU patients Collaborate with APPs, residents, surgical teams, consultants, and attending physicians in a closed ICU care model Local candidates may be considered if residing within 60 miles of Boston, MA, at a reduced rate No validated parking available at Boston location; public transportation and paid public parking (approximately $17-$22 daily) are options Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
