About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Actuarial to play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Actuarial Team in delivering high-impact, data-driven insights that drive financial business objectives. This includes overseeing complex actuarial projects such as financial modeling, data analysis, and visualization. The role demands a strategic leader with a strong background in actuarial science, particularly in the areas of retiree health care benefits and individual insurance. Experience with Medicare Advantage, Med Supp, and/or life insurance is a plus. The Head of Actuarial will also be instrumental in team growth and must possess excellent communication skills to effectively engage with the C-suite and other departments. Applicants for the Head of Actuarial position at the company should be FSA with a minimum of 10 years' actuarial experience. The role requires a candidate who is not only technically proficient but also a strategic thinker capable of leading the team in a dynamic and challenging environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving financial business objectives through the application of actuarial principles and be adept at working on complex projects that require a high level of data analysis and visualization. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as the role involves significant interaction with the C-suite and other departments. A background in Medicare Advantage, Med Supp, and/or life insurance is advantageous, and experience in these areas will be considered a plus.
