Induction Furnace Operator

Position: Induction Furnace Operator Location: PST: 24200 Plymouth Road, Redford Hours: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Monday-Friday Job Titles and Equipment Furnace Operator - Heat Treatment employees are expected to maintain furnace control, inspect parts before and after the heat treat process, examine parts, read computer controls, and examine processed parts. Skills Required Previous experience with Heat Treat Self‑motivated; able to work without constant supervision Good work ethics: dependable, reliable Able to work in a team environment; gets along with others Good math and computer skills Mechanically inclined; good with hand tools Good communication skills Dependable; excellent attendance record Quality focused; takes pride in their work. Team player; able to work well with others. Accountable; able to work without constant supervision. Learner – able to take instruction. Helper – willing to help others.
