A Medical Technologist is a proficient healthcare professional responsible for testing and analyzing blood, bodily fluids, and tissue samples. They operate and maintain the equipment used for specimen analysis and ensure that tests are conducted accurately and promptly.

This position requires working alternate weekends.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science.
• Certification as MT (ASCP) or CLS (NCA) is required, along with any relevant subspecialty certifications such as BB (ASCP), C (ASCP), M (ASCP), etc.
• New graduates will have a one-year grace period from their graduation date to obtain the necessary ASCP/CLS certification, and they must sign an agreement acknowledging this requirement.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy; attention to detail and strong verbal communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment and instrumentation, as well as keyboarding skills.
