As a Technical Account Manager, you will significantly influence product adoption and drive strategic growth within a competitive global market.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in strategy meetings by researching market trends and presenting tailored solutions to customer challenges.
- Align with customers’ development strategies to direct R&D resources effectively.
- Establish and nurture relationships with both existing and potential customers to assess their needs and recommend materials for sampling and evaluation.
- Utilize business software tools to generate quotes, initiate part numbers, and maintain comprehensive customer records.
- Drive the sales lifecycle from product sampling and testing through qualification and commercialization.
- Create and manage sales forecasts to meet product group targets.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers, internal teams, and the parent company to resolve technical and commercial issues and drive continuous customer satisfaction.
- Represent the organization during key visits to parent company facilities and major customer meetings.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in material/chemical engineering or semiconductor fabrication processes.
- Proven technical expertise within the semiconductor market.
- Strong ability to communicate highly technical information clearly to varied audiences.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple product lines across diverse customer accounts.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic, evolving sales environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Master’s or PhD in a technical field or business.
- Experience working within a multi-cultural or multinational team environment.
- Advanced understanding of photolithography or semiconductor chemical processes. (KrF, ArF, EUV resists)
- Ability to quickly analyze data and generate actionable market insights.
- Prior experience developing pricing strategies or supporting product development initiatives.
