Seasonal RN Program - MSTThis position represents three openings. As the leader of the health care team, provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures. Demonstrates performance consistent with the Medical Center Vision, Mission, and Strategic Plan of the organization. Remains flexible to changing systems; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats co-workers, patients, families, and all members of the health care team with dignity and respect.Essential Responsibilities:The Registered Nurse demonstrates proficiency by exhibiting the following skills, competencies, and behaviors: Leadership, Nursing Process, Documentation, Clinical Outcomes, Patient Care Experience, Team Commitment, Fiscal Responsibility.Basic Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of one (1) year full-time equivalent experience within the past three (3) years as an RN. This experience must be within the clinical area of specialty for the position of hire.Education: Please refer to Minimum Education section for Qualifications.License, Certification, Registration: Registered Nurse License (California), Basic Life Support.Additional Requirements:Applicants will be required to successfully complete a Kaiser Permanente Nursing Orientation Program. IP applicants must receive RN license within 3 months of hire.This position is a temporary seasonal position, full-time non-benefitted with a commitment duration of 5-6 months from date of hire.Preferred Qualifications:BNS preferredNotes:May be Part-Time or Full-Time, Day or Night Shift.Start date will be September 14, 2026 - February 21, 2027, for orientation and training (may vary by medical center/clinic). End date will be 5 months from start date.Position is non-benefited, temporary.KFH may be required to float to other related MST departments.May be cancelled, but no more than five (5) times during the temporary obligation.Is guaranteed one major holiday off during the assignment, but is obligated to work all others, if needed.Transfers to another position at Kaiser Permanente will not be permitted during the temporary commitment, however if participants are interested in regular employment, they are encouraged to express interest for regular positions 6-8 weeks prior to end of assignment.Will be required to work every other weekend and some holiday.
