Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery - NIGHTS Job Description: - Start Date: ASAP - Shift: Nights - 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM - Schedule: No call; flexible floating within Women’s Services - Max RTO: 6 days within a 6-week period - Holiday Requirement: Must work 1 major holiday if assignment overlaps Key Requirements: - Licensure: Active RN Licensure - Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS - AHA or ARC) - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (preferred) - STABLE (preferred) - Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery - Skills: - Ability to circulate C-sections - High-risk labor management expertise - Proficient in Pitocin titration - Fetal monitoring interpretation - Neonatal resuscitation participation - Competency in postpartum/couplet care Preferred Qualifications: - Previous rural hospital experience - Familiarity with LDRP model Role Scope: - Responsibilities include Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Newborn care. Patient Ratio: - 1:1 for labor - 3:1 for couplet care Facility Features: - Number of Beds: 8 - Scrub Color: Navy Blue or Pink - EMR System: GE Centricity Perinatal (CPN), MedHost for orders, charges, and med scanning Important Notes: - Travelers must be submitted with full information, including home address and SSN. - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
