As a Security Officer - Building Surveillance in Chandler, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, support access awareness, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or other designated areas to support authorized access, verify credentials when required, and address questions or concerns with professionalism.
• Support day-to-day site operations by communicating with client representatives and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy questions, and/or evolving conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
