This role is ideal for a motivated, non-asset brokerage sales professional with a successful track record of winning new business, growing customer accounts, and delivering exceptional service.What You'll DoIdentify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities to achieve revenue and gross margin goalsBuild and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers while negotiating rates within company guidelinesGrow existing accounts through exceptional service, proactive communication, and referral generationMaintain regular customer contact to understand short- and long-term shipping needsUtilize CWI's Transportation Management System (TMS) to manage business effectivelyEnsure carrier compliance with CWI safety and vetting standards and customers meet credit requirementsMonitor carrier performance to ensure service expectations are consistently metSupport budgeting, revenue forecasting, and account analysis activitiesWhat You BringMinimum 2+ years of freight brokerage sales experience requiredProven success developing and closing new business opportunitiesStrong negotiation, relationship-building, and account management skillsAbility to meet and exceed sales and gross margin goalsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organization, follow-up, and problem-solving abilitiesMicrosoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma requiredWhy CWI Transportation?At CWI Transportation, we believe great workplaces are built through strong values, leadership, and a commitment to people.
