Scheduler Position

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients. The primary purpose of the Scheduler position is to schedule all patient procedures and services. Verification of health plan eligibility and benefits. Obtain referrals, authorizations and precertification for all patient service types.

Your Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant Program preferred
• Successful completion of basic medical terminology class required prior to employment or within six months of hire date
• 1 year medical appointment scheduling

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community's first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women's services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more. The campus will also include a 40,000-square-foot medical office building.
