Packaging AssociateLocation: Dexter, MI 48130 Pay Rate: $18.50/hr, paid weekly Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM Duration: 1-Year ContractOverviewThe Packaging Associate supports production and packaging operations in a manufacturing environment. This position involves labeling, packaging, assembly, inspection, and rework of electronic and mechanical components while following established work instructions and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesPerform packaging, labeling, and production assembly activities.Complete repetitive and non-repetitive assembly tasks involving electronic and mechanical components and subassemblies.Work from visual aids, diagrams, process sheets, layouts, and written or verbal instructions.Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and other production equipment as required.Set up initial layouts and prepare materials for production or packaging.Perform basic continuity checks on work in process and completed products.Inspect products to ensure they meet established quality specifications.Identify labeling, packaging, or assembly defects.Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble components when required.Support testing of assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications.Follow established production, quality, and safety procedures.Required ExperiencePackaging experience.Labeling experience.Basic knowledge of production or manufacturing processes preferred.No specific number of years of experience required.Benefits: Employee contribution may be required.Health insurance.Health savings account.Dental insurance.Vision insurance.Flexible spending accounts.Life insurance.Retirement plan.Equal Opportunity EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
