Medical Director, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

CommonSpirit Ooltewah Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Board Certified Physiatrist to serve as Medical Director of its growing inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This leadership opportunity involves guiding clinical excellence while maintaining an active patient care practice in a modern, freestanding rehabilitation hospital. As Medical Director, you will partner with hospital leadership and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver exceptional rehabilitation outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities
- Provide medical leadership for the inpatient rehabilitation program
- Deliver comprehensive inpatient physiatry care
- Lead interdisciplinary treatment team conferences
- Develop individualized rehabilitation treatment plans
- Collaborate with therapists, nursing, case management, and consulting physicians
- Support quality improvement initiatives and program development
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Partner with hospital administration to promote clinical excellence and operational success

Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Eligible for Tennessee medical licensure
- Prior leadership experience preferred but not required
- Passion for interdisciplinary rehabilitation medicine
- Strong communication and physician leadership skills
