Craft a Brew is a craft beer and homebrewing company in Orlando. We make DIY beer-making and beverage kits that ship all over the country, and the holidays are our busiest time of year. We're hiring a Warehouse Assembly Specialist to help assemble our kits from now through mid-January.

This is a seasonal position, but we are hiring with the intent to keep the right person on. If you're reliable, accurate and easy to work with, there is a permanent spot on the team at the end of the season.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll assemble the ingredients and equipment that our customers use to make their own beer. The work is straightforward, but accuracy, pace and attention to detail matter. Our customers' experience is in your hands.

• Follow our Production Manual to assemble a variety of beer-making and beverage kits (ingredients and equipment)
• Compile ingredient packets into boxes or bags according to each recipe
• Build small sub-assemblies and prepare products on the production line
• Label and pack finished boxes
• Stack finished goods on pallets and wrap them for wholesale purchase orders
• Take daily assignments from the Production Manager and pass quality-assurance checkpoints
• Keep the line clean: sweeping, breaking down boxes, taking trash and recycling out

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Detail-oriented and focused: you can follow written and verbal instructions exactly and catch your own mistakes
• Reliable: you show up on time every day, especially during the holiday rush
• Comfortable with repetitive hands-on work at a steady pace
• A team player with a positive attitude who enjoys a small, fun team of craft beer lovers
• Warehouse, production, assembly or kitting experience is a plus, but not required. We'll train you.
• An interest in craft beer or homebrewing is a bonus

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Standing most of the day in our open-air warehouse
• Bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, using a box cutter and tape gun
• Comfortable dress code; closed-toe shoes required

SCHEDULE AND PAY

• $16 to $18 per hour, depending on experience
• Full-time preferred, but we'll consider 30+ hours per week for the right person
• Monday through Friday within 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; we do not operate on weekends
• Overtime available during our peak season (October through December)
• Seasonal through mid-January; permanent position offered to strong performers
• Position is open now and we'd like to fill it immediately
