Quick Facts Location: Richmond, VA (5801 Bremo Road) Start Date: ASAP (Credentialing approx. 120 days) End Date/Duration: Ongoing / as needed Shift: Full-time, Mon-Fri + Call (1:6 ratio) Hours/week: Approximately 40 hours Employment Type: Locum / per diem License/Certs: Board-Certified in Non-Invasive Cardiology required Experience: Previous inpatient/outpatient cardiology experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $19.50/hour Pay package discussed upon application Benefits: Competitive rates, support for credentialing, flexible scheduling, and professional support (benefits details to be discussed) What You’ll Do Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations and management Conduct electrocardiograms (EKGs) and interpret results Collaborate with a team of healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive patient care Support supervision of advanced practice providers (APCs) as required Participate in on-call rotations (approximately 1:6) Document patient encounters efficiently using EPIC EMR system Assist during admissions and manage adult/geriatric patients What You Need Board Certification in Non-Invasive Cardiology VA medical license or eligibility At least 2 years of cardiology practice experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment Join a prominent hospital in Richmond, Virginia, a facility committed to providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients.
