Experienced RN Needed For Skilled Nursing Units

We are seeking an experienced RN for our Skilled Nursing units. The candidate must have a current WI License and CPR. Traveler may be asked to float to other in-patient units due to census. Will rotate scheduling between weekday and weekend shifts. 0.9 FTE day shift 0630-1900.

Essential duties and responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act. Document according to standards of care. Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or hospital policy including patient and family instruction. Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, may include shared governance. Utilize clinical expertise & guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care. Utilize critical thinking in regards to patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalate to the appropriate chain of command.
