Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students across multiple school locations in the Silver Spring, MD area for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role begins August 10th, 2026, and runs through June 9th, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Help students reach their full communication potential in a dynamic educational environment while collaborating with dedicated professionals.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellows considered)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
• Familiarity with developing, updating, and implementing IEPs
• Compassion, flexibility, and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver engaging onsite therapy sessions to students with diverse needs across multiple school locations
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and related service providers to support student IEP goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and interventions
• Offer consultative services and resources to families, educators, and support staff
• Adhere to district protocols and maintain compliance with relevant state and federal regulations
