The Spice & Tea Exchange® is looking for Retail Sales Associates immediately for a specialty retail shop that sells spices, herbs, teas, spice blends, rubs, and related products. Come work with us in a fun, creative, and supportive environment! Advancement opportunities are available.

Responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring each guest receives stellar customer service and is welcomed into the store
• Utilizing follow-up lines with guests
• Maintaining inventory levels throughout the store
• Pricing merchandise with labels, SKUs, prices, and locations
• Blending and packaging product as necessary
• Obtaining merchandise requested by the customer and fielding customer questions
• Maintaining solid, accurate, and current product knowledge
• Complying with operating standards and procedures
• Assessing and notifying management of low product inventory levels
• Helping maintain store appearance by contributing towards daily chores

Preferred skills include:

• Proven customer focus with stellar customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to utilize simple math skills in measuring ingredients, reading a scale, and following recipes
