Hospitalist Physician

Practice Info Conduct hospital rounds on all patients referred to the service at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital Responsibilities Provide patient care in a manner consistent with hospital medical staff by-laws and referring physician requests Communicate with families, referring physicians, specialists, administration, and hospital departments in the care and treatment of patients referred to the service Work with hospitals and clinical staff, social services, utilization management, and other members of the interdisciplinary teams Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to discuss patient progress, variances, achievement of expected outcomes, and plan of care Assume responsibility to ensure that all necessary documentation is accurate, complete, and timely, including medical records, billing/coding, and any other such documentation as requested by the hospital Attend and complete all specific competencies and annual organizational requirements Compensation Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $271,500 - $401,500 Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role Benefits A comprehensive benefits package Incentive and recognition programs Equity stock purchase 401k contribution Shift & Schedule Block Schedule: 7 on / 7 off 12-hour onsite shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Requirements Board certified or board eligible with the ability to attain prior to start Unrestricted California MD/DO License Current BLS, ACLS certification Current California DEA certificate or ability to attain prior to start EMR Proficient Demonstrated excellent communication skills and time management
