Security Officer

Job Description Amery Hospital is a hiring a full-time Security Officer. The Security Officer is responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff of Amery Hospital & Clinic. Security Officers provide a variety of services ranging from routine patrols, emergency response, public assistance, report writing, investigative services and other duties as deemed necessary by the Manager, Security Operations. Essential functions include: Patrol all areas of the hospital (internal and external) and any off-site properties owned and/or operated by Amery Hospital & Clinic on a daily basis as requested. Respond to the emergency needs of the organization and its occupants when necessary. Respond to routing requests of all departments of Amery Hospital & Clinic. Report and investigate all incidents. Keep accurate documentation of all events during a scheduled shift. Responsible for quick registration for patients entering the emergency department. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Demonstrates keyboarding skill and computer knowledge Valid, unrestricted driver's license Preferred Qualifications Post high school education in the field of law enforcement One year experience in customer service Experience in working security, Law Enforcement, Military or mental health About Us At HealthPartners we believe in the power of good – good deeds and good people working together.
