Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

The Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide general medical administration of medication and care to patients, with responsibilities including remote telemonitoring in collaboration with a monitor technician. The nurse will mainly work in the Med Surg unit and may float to MS Tele as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform general patient care activities.
• Monitor patients remotely in coordination with telemetry support.
• Provide post-operative care and assist in surgical recovery as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2+ years of Med Surg experience required.
• 1+ year of recent travel experience is required.
• Telemetry experience is mandatory.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Cerner experience is essential.
