Job Title: RN ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse credentialed from the state Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date. Certifications: - Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date. - Basic Life Support Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date. Must-Have: Knowledge of CRRT, CABG, Trauma, Impella, etc. Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
