BallenIsles Country Club, located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour depending on experience. General Purpose: As a vital role to the Golf Courses and Grounds team, a Greenskeeper is responsible for the maintenance and care of the golf courses and grounds under the supervision of the Director, Superintendents, and Assistant Superintendents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains the golf course by mowing, trimming, top dressing, treating turf, maintaining bunkers, changing holes, trimming hedges, and performing general maintenance
• Operates golf course equipment; keeps equipment fueled, oiled, and inspected
• Participates in daily setup of the golf course for play
• Mows greens, tees, aprons, approaches, fairways, rough, and other areas of the golf course
• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
• Waters tees, greens, and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes, and irrigation heads as necessary
• Grades and prepares soil base; lays sod and seeds greens, tees, and fairways
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
• Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g., associates may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers; equipment manuals may be in English)

Working Conditions:

• Frequently uses hands
• Regularly stands, walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, and crawls
• Frequently lifts, moves, and carries up to 50 pounds; may push or pull up to 100 pounds
• Regularly exposed to hot and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, moving mechanical parts, compact spaces, hot attic temperatures, and outside weather conditions
• Noise level is moderate
