Registered Nurse - Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Specialist

Day Shift - 8 hours, Monday to Friday

The Registered Nurse functions as a consultant to all staff and patients in the areas of skin prevention, wound care, ostomy management, and continence needs.

Responsibilities:

Provide consultation for skin prevention and wound care management.
Assist nursing staff with ostomy care and continence needs.
Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare staff.
Demonstrate professionalism and empathy when interacting with patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

High School education or equivalent required.
Completion of a registered nurse degree program is required.
Minimum of 3 years full-time professional nursing experience with medical-surgical patients.
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Pennsylvania.
Board certification in wound, ostomy, and continence nursing.
Must meet the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renew BLS every two years.
