Position Summary:
Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including: utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching and digging.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications:
- Work outdoors - perhaps in some extreme climates
- Operate hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner, ensure hydrovac truck and all equipment are in good working condition
- Preform pre and post inspections, as well as routine maintenance
- Must be able to sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl repetitively
- Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts
- HAZWOPPER, TENORM, H2S, Confine Space and Rescue, First Aid, training preferred
- OSHA 10, required within 30 days of hire
- Assist fellow crew members wherever required to get the job done (may entail manual labor and/or be outside your ticketed trade)
- Class A CDL preferred, Class B acceptable
- May work around some hazardous material
- Hydrovac experience preferred
- Set up and inspect grounding and/ or bonding procedures for hydrovac operation
- Personal Protective equipment (PPE) required
- Driver's License required
- Complete all required paperwork properly and submit on time
