Description
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Network Technician to support network infrastructure, security systems, and technology deployments across multiple locations. This role sits between the Service Desk and Systems Administration teams, providing hands-on technical support, network troubleshooting, and physical infrastructure installation. The ideal candidate enjoys working in the field, collaborating with multiple IT teams, and solving technical challenges in diverse environments.

This is a heavily travel-oriented position with approximately 60% travel and 40% office-based work. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, lifting equipment, operating man lifts, and supporting installations at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and maintain network infrastructure, including:
Cisco
Fortinet
Ubiquiti
Support network connectivity, hardware, and infrastructure initiatives.
Install, configure, and support surveillance camera systems.
Design, deploy, and maintain NVR (Network Video Recorder) server solutions.
Assist with cable pulls and physical network installations.
Partner with Security teams on camera and access control projects.
Travel to various client locations to install, troubleshoot, and support technology solutions.
Operate man lifts and safely perform elevated installation work.
Lift and move networking and security equipment as needed.
Collaborate across Service Desk, Systems Administration, Security, and Infrastructure teams.
Provide onsite technical support during deployments, upgrades, and maintenance projects.
Required Qualifications:
Experience supporting enterprise networking environments.
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, and/or Ubiquiti technologies.
Strong troubleshooting skills across network and infrastructure components.
Experience with surveillance cameras, security systems, or NVR platforms.
Experience pulling cable and assisting with infrastructure installations.
Ability to travel extensively and work onsite at customer locations.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work from man lifts when required.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: $50,000 - $55,000
Eligible for overtime (non-exempt position)
Annual bonus opportunity up to 20%
Expected total compensation: $53,000 - $75,000+ (salary, overtime, and bonus combined)
Significant overtime available, with employees commonly working 50-70 hours per week
Client provides all required tools and equipment
Company-paid hotels during travel
Mileage reimbursement
Meal expense reimbursement

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
