Job Summary

Manufacturing Engineer designs, optimizes, and maintains manufacturing processes, ensuring products are produced efficiently, safely, and at high-quality using methods such as lean manufacturing, CAD/CAM tools, and process validation.

Based on our government contract, US Citizenship is required.

Key duties:

• Design and document manufacturing processes including cycle times, tooling and inspection points.
• Develop and maintain FMEAs to identify and mitigate production risks
• Lead design for manufacturability (DFM) reviews with product engineering teams
• Design and optimize production processes using methods such as machining, molding, stamping and additive manufacturing.
• Improve existing processes through lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and quality standards
• Analyze workflows, space requirements and equipment placement to maximize efficiency
• Coordinate maintenance and repair services to keep equipment operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Certifications such as Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMFGE) may provide advantages
