CONTRACT - Associate Software Engineer, Audio (NTD)

Nintendo Technology Development Nintendo Co., Ltd. is a leading creator of interactive entertainment. Nintendo Technology Development, a wholly owned subsidiary based in Redmond, Washington, develops future hardware/software technology for North American-based systems. Responsibilities Design and implement audio system software. Characterize, analyze, organize, and present detailed performance metrics of features at a large scale. Optimize, maintain, validate, and diagnose failures in existing and new systems. Requirements BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Coursework or foundational knowledge in digital signal processing (DSP). Experience with real-time embedded and cross-platform development. 3 or more years of professional experience with C/C++ programming. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Requirements Knowledge of DSP architectures (e.g., Hifi, Hexagon, ARM SIMD). Experience with acoustic and audio signal processing algorithms. Familiarity with audio peripherals and interfaces (e.g., I2S, TDM, PDM, DMA). Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered.
