Registered Respiratory Therapist RT RRT Adult NICU & PICU experience required

What you will do:

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions

• Knows understands incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines.

• Acts independently & appropriately within scope of knowledge & experience in practice area

• Retains accountability for delegation choices decisions & outcomes

• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes

• Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities

• Embraces new ideas & cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist

• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner -Accredited Respiratory Therapist program: Registry eligible.

• Current RRT credential .

• Valid State License in Respiratory Care if in the state you are working .

• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS NRP etc). BLS ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association

• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients physicians and other health personnel and department management during all situations and in line with our mission and values.

• Analytical skills necessary to identify patients needs.

• Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

Pay Range: $29.89-33.50 per hour Tax Free Allowance if Qualified or $61 per hour for local
Actual compensation offered will be within the range stated above but vary based on factors including experience qualifications education location licensure and certification requirements as well as comparisons to current colleagues in similar roles.
