Registered Nurse - ICU Float Pool

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our ICU Float Pool. The ideal candidate will float between the Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU. You will be responsible for providing patient care to a diverse range of ICU patients, including those who are sedated, intubated, and on pressors. This position requires flexibility in assignments as you may take multiple different assignments during a shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various ICU settings.
• Assist in the management of critical care patients with varying degrees of complexity.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize the EMR system (EPIC) for documentation and patient management.
• Maintain adherence to safety standards and best practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3 years of ICU experience required.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Maine.
• Experience floating between different ICU areas is preferred.
