Registered Nurse, ICU

Location and Schedule Lebanon, KY. Full time. Days 7am-7pm & every other weekend. Overview Spring View Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is a 75‑bed facility in Lebanon, KY offering a full range of services with state‑of‑the‑art technology including pain management, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, behavioral health services, wound care and laboratory. Our ICU is a 7‑bed unit focused on teamwork and effective communication to provide specialized care to critically ill patients. Responsibilities Demonstrates professional development and clinical competency; utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care. Documents patient care provided. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and family as appropriate. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. Floats to other departments as needed to maintain safe nurse‑to‑patient ratios. Manages ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and vapotherm devices. Titrates and maintains critical drips on ICU patients, including knowledge of indications, contraindications, and side effects. Passes a rhythm recognition test within 90 days of hire/transfer. Qualifications Registered Nurse license required. Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS training required within 12 months of hire. One year of nursing experience required. Must receive Handle With Care training within 30 days of orientation and keep it annually.
