Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care in a Medical Surgical unit. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring safety and adherence to clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' condition and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress and document findings accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in condition.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current licensure in the state.
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• BLS certification required; IV start experience preferred.
• Ability to float between units as needed.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and some weekend rotations.
