Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for obstetric patients in the LDR unit according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications as ordered, assist with labor and delivery procedures, and respond to obstetric emergencies.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; prioritize and delegate tasks while maintaining patient safety.
- Coordinate care with obstetricians, anesthesia, lactation consultants, pediatrics, and other disciplines; document care accurately and timely.
- Provide patient and family education and support throughout labor, delivery, and recovery phases within department scope.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in an LDR unit
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills in obstetric nursing
- Capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adhere to department standards of care
