Job Description

Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

• Provide anesthesia services in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting
• Work 4x10 hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to work 2 weeks per month minimum
• Contract length options of 13 or 26 weeks with extension opportunities
• Cover Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neurology cases (no cardiac procedures)
• Work under medical direction with anesthesiologists, typically in 2:1 or 3:1 ratios
• Support staff includes CRNAs, Anesthesia Technicians, and Anesthesiologists
• Handle 1-9 patients daily depending on case load
• Treat patients of all age spans except neonatal
• Required to work in non-operating room anesthesia (NORA) settings
• Perform intubations, central line placement, arterial line placement, and various line procedures
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Must have minimum 1 year experience in large medical center setting
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Board certification through NBCRNA required
• Kentucky state license required or willingness to obtain
