Line Loader - Heavy Lifter

POSITION OVERVIEW Production Employees are responsible to sort and repackage product as well as other duties as assigned. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Palletize product based on: customer, product type and order number Sort products based on: size, color, and quality Ability to weigh cases of products by: moving cases from table/conveyor to scale, weighing the product based on customer specifications, controlling give away and placing case on discharge conveyor Sort pallets of product by hand looking for: decay and/or wet cases Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Must have the physical ability to read labels efficiently. Must have the physical ability to hear and follow instructions. Must have basic math skills and be able to do basic math in your head. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Skills: Basic Computer Skills WORKING CONDITIONS Employee may have to lift, carry and move boxes and cartons up to 25 lbs.
