Overview

This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits, retirement through OPERS, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Radiology Technologists here provide diagnostic imaging services across a wide range of patient populations, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compassionate care. Working within a collaborative imaging team, you'll combine technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients and providers alike.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams under the direction of the Imaging Services Director and Radiologists.
• Review physician orders for accuracy and ensure proper protocols are followed.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients before and during procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Set technical factors (KVP, MAS, exposure) and adjust as needed for image quality and patient safety.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment; perform daily quality control and troubleshooting.
• Document procedures accurately within PACS/RIS and patient medical records.
• Educate patients and provide assistance to hospital personnel regarding imaging procedures when required.
• Respond efficiently and professionally in emergent situations to support patient care.
• Participate in quarterly quality assurance activities and equipment safety reviews with medical physicists.

Education, Certifications & Skills

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required.
• Active Ohio license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Current BLS certification (must be maintained throughout employment).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to treat patients, families, and colleagues with professionalism and compassion.
• Computer skills with ability to navigate PACS/RIS systems.
• Preferred: 3+ years of clinical imaging experience.
