Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Placerville, CA Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (Strong Potential for Extension) Weekly Pay: $2,890 – $3,210/week Schedule: Guaranteed 30 hours/week with opportunities to work up to approximately 40 hours per week based on availability and interest in Part B and long-term care caseloads. About the Opportunity We're seeking a compassionate and motivated Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a collaborative rehabilitation team in a Skilled Nursing Facility located in the beautiful Sierra foothills of Northern California. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced rehabilitation professionals while making a meaningful impact on the lives of geriatric patients. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs. Perform dysphagia evaluations and provide evidence-based swallowing treatment. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, patients, and families. Complete accurate and timely documentation. Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise strategies.
