Job Opportunity

Position: Physical Therapist

Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Weekend work required: one weekend per month.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• New York State License or eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in acute care and ICU settings
• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement treatment programs in accordance with established procedures.
• Formulate specific goals for patient treatment in collaboration with health care personnel and patients.
• Prepare and maintain patient notes and discharge records in a timely manner.
• Attend designated clinics, rounds, and conferences, providing necessary patient information.
• Participate in educational programs for staff members, students, volunteers, and other health care professionals.
• Train new staff members and serve as a clinical instructor for senior level students.
• Facilitate the development of new programs to enhance patient care.
