Boot Barn is seeking Key Holders who will engage with customers, create an exceptional in-store experience, and provide leadership to store partners. Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. The position offers a competitive hourly rate along with sales incentives and a monthly store sales bonus. Key Holders will assist in driving store sales goals, team development, and operational procedures while maintaining a customer-first selling culture. Flexibility with scheduling is required, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as up to 10% travel to support local stores.

Additionally, Key Holders partner with the leadership team in driving activity to exceed store sales goals, help with team development and assist with store operational procedures as assigned. Key Holder duties include fostering a service and selling culture; becoming an expert in product categories; maintaining and achieving measurable goals; understanding current merchandise promotions and advertisements; maintaining company-merchandising standards; assisting with processing merchandise and monitoring floor stock; completing all sales transactions; actively seeking new ways to develop skills and improve metrics; completing all opening and closing procedures; adhering to all local, federal, and state laws; performing any other duties assigned by management; demonstrating high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.

Qualifications include 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience; strong leadership, communication, time management and organization skills; availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays; flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary; up to 10% travel to support local stores; business acumen; conflict management; customer-centric approach; leadership and team development; strategic thinking.

Physical demands include standing, walking and squatting more than fifty percent of the work shift; lifting, moving and carrying up to 40 pounds; ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation and reports; specific vision abilities; manual dexterity.

Work environment conditions include clean, orderly, properly lighted and ventilated workspace with moderate noise levels.
