Medical Receptionist - Norwood & Norfolk Locations Eye Care Specialists is seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. This position will work at both our Norwood and Norfolk offices. Responsibilities:

- Greet and check in and out patients
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Verify patient demographics and insurance information
- Collect copayments
- Assist with referrals and patient messages
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and staff
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy medical office
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working as part of a team
- Previous medical office or receptionist experience is preferred but not required
- Experience with electronic medical records and insurance verification is a plus
- 10 paid holidays
- 10 days of PTO after a 90-day probationary period
