As an Information Technology Support Specialist you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Your role will involve providing technical support and troubleshooting for computer systems, software, and hardware. Responsibilities Provide technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and systems hardware and software. Coach and provide guidance to less‑experienced professionals. Apply diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions. Provide remote support access through desktop mirroring and other remote access applications for worldwide sites. Identify, investigate, resolve, and follow‑up on problems brought to the helpdesk by users of cloud infrastructure. Requirements 5+ years of related experience. Installing, modifying, and repairing computer hardware and software both in person and using remote access tools. Security clearance: Top Secret SCI with polygraph. U.S. citizenship required. Begin shift on Wednesdays to Sundays from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.; may work on holidays. Location: On-site in Annapolis Junction, MD. Certification: CompTIA Security+.
