Mergers and Acquisitions Associate

Overview A highly respected Top 200 CPA firm is seeking a M&A Senior Associate to join its national team. This fully remote role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in Financial Due Diligence who are passionate about supporting M&A transactions. This position is not tax-focused , and candidates with experience in buy-side or sell-side due diligence are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Lead and support financial due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients Analyze historical and projected financial data to identify key deal drivers, risks, and opportunities Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams including valuation, audit, and consulting Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development efforts Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Transaction Advisory, Financial Due Diligence, or related M&A roles CPA preferred (but not required) Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Experience with private equity clients is a plus Compensation Base Salary: Up to $125,000 Performance-based incentives available Location Fully Remote – Open to candidates across the U.S. (No CA or NY based Candidates) Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Accounting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at SR Staffing by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr SR Staffing
