We're looking for a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team, where every day is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care. This role supports our Ascentist Healthcare clinics, helping us deliver exceptional care across our locations in Kansas and Missouri.

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting a variety of clinical areas, working alongside different providers and care teams. This position will float between our Endocrinology, Pulmonology, and Sleep Medicine departments, providing coverage and support as needed. You will help maintain a professional and efficient environment while using strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with staff and providers, ensuring high-quality care and positive outcomes for every patient.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Rooming patients and preparing them for their visit
• Collecting and documenting medical history and vital signs
• Chart prepping and maintaining accurate patient records
• Assisting providers during in-office procedures
• Preparing patients and procedure rooms ahead of treatments
• Submitting prior authorizations as needed
• Supporting clinic operations and ensuring a smooth patient flow

Job Type: Full-time

Locations: Tudor Square, Mission Farms, and Leawood

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k Plan, plus optional benefits

Schedule: Monday - Friday; Hours will vary from 7-330pm to 430-4pm

Experience: Minimum of one year substantially similar work experience in a medical setting, performing substantially similar Medical Assistant essential functions
