About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a strategic financial business partner. The CFO will be instrumental in driving growth, financial discipline, and operational excellence within the organization. This leadership role involves architecting scalable financial systems, strengthening cash flow, and providing actionable insights to support business expansion, M&A, and capital strategy. The successful candidate will be hands-on in collaborating with operations to align financial strategy with field execution, ultimately improving margin and project visibility. Key responsibilities for the CFO include overseeing all finance functions, leading financial planning, forecasting, risk management, and compliance, and building advanced systems and analytics for data-driven decision-making. The role also requires a championing of a high-performance culture through hands-on leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and team development. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior finance executive role within construction, development, or similar complex, fast-growing organizations. Deep expertise in construction finance, M&A, and capital markets, as well as a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (CPA/MBA preferred), are essential. The position demands a candidate who is either a resident of the Quad Cities or is willing to relocate, with an on-site presence being a requirement.
