Director, Data Science - AI Evidence Extraction

Director leading the design and deployment of AI-enabled workflows for scientific evidence extraction and synthesis supporting clinical development in Neuroscience. This hands-on technical leader will establish data models, quality standards, and analytical approaches while partnering across clinical, statistical, and regulatory functions to build scalable, reusable evidence assets.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy, roadmap, priorities, and value measures for scientific evidence data capabilities in Neuroscience
• Build and deploy scalable AI-enabled workflows for evidence identification, extraction, curation, and analysis
• Establish fit-for-purpose data models, databases, provenance standards, and quality controls
• Define validation, evaluation, human-review practices, and responsible AI guidelines
• Partner with clinical, statistical, regulatory, and technology stakeholders on workflow implementation

Requirements

• PhD in quantitative, clinical, or life-science field; or MS with relevant experience
• 8+ years pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare analytics experience with technical leadership
• Hands-on experience with systematic reviews, meta-analysis, or quantitative evidence synthesis
• Data modeling, scientific curation, provenance, and quality control expertise
• Recent experience building and deploying scalable AI, NLP, or generative AI solutions
• Strong Python and/or R proficiency with sound software engineering practices
• Understanding of validation, uncertainty quantification, and human-in-the-loop review
