About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join their North America Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be a strategic financial leader, responsible for all finance functions, including accounting, tax, compliance, audit, business analytics, data governance, treasury, and contract review. This role demands a hands-on approach, with the VP of Finance expected to be a trusted advisor, providing business insight, and driving sustainable growth and profitability. Key responsibilities include developing and executing financial strategies, evaluating business opportunities, and partnering with functional leaders to improve business performance. The VP of Finance will also oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA and professional certification such as CPA or CMA strongly preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, including at least 5 years leading multi-functional finance organizations, is required. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, distribution, or a related industry, and experience in high-growth, globally connected organizations. The role demands a proven track record of strategic leadership, business partnership, and the ability to foster a culture of collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement. The VP of Finance will also be responsible for leading a high-performing finance organization, so strong leadership and team development skills are essential.
